This session will feature dynamic speaker Mary Kaczorek as she takes you on a journey of learning about Minnesota’s foreclosure laws affecting low-income homeowners.  Mary will teach you about the requirements under federal and state law and go over Minnesota’s processes for both foreclosure by advertisement and judicial foreclosure.  Mary will highlight key protections for homeowners including loss mitigation, local resources for homeowners, and more!  The presentation will close out with a special bonus section about homeowners’ association and condo association foreclosures.  Mary will really bring it all home in this training, so be sure to register today!

Presenter:  Mary Kaczorek is a Staff Attorney at Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid.  She practices consumer law with Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid (MMLA) in Minneapolis. Mary has also worked for Legal Aid as a supervising attorney with Legal Services State Support in St. Paul. Prior to coming to Legal Aid, Mary served as an unemployment law judge with the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development.  Mary received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Minnesota Law School.
