We will walk through a typical application, the two basic types of a discharge from unemployment (quitting and termination), and what constitutes quitting for good cause as well as what termination for serious misconduct entails. We'll discuss the serious illness exception to misconduct. In addition, we will cover the three ongoing requirements to maintain eligibility: able to work, available for work, and actively seeking work.
