Naturalization Screening Clinic & Workshop with Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid

Topics:
  • Immigrant / Refugee

Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid hosts quarterly Naturalization Screening Clinics and Workshops in partnership with local organizations. At these clinics we screen individuals for eligibility for naturalization, and if eligible, we begin the application process the same day. We also provide resources and referrals for individuals who are not yet ready to naturalize.

The first one for 2024 will be held on January 25th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at Waite House, located at 2323 11th Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN, 55404.

If you are an attorney, paralegal, or law student looking to help your neighbors naturalize, please consider joining us. Register to volunteer at this link: https://forms.office.com/r/bwsQDP8ZDC.

Training required prior to volunteering. A recording of our 1.5 hour screening and clinic training video will be available after you register. If you are an attorney who is interested in potentially representing the clients beyond the clinic at their naturalization interview, please join us for our application process training on Thursday, January 18th from 1:00 - 2:00pm.
