Nichole Burgess | Acting Regional Attorney / Supervisory Attorney, NLRB Region 18

Nichole has worked at Minneapolis office of the National Labor Relations Board for 17 years. As a field attorney, she handled representation matters and investigated and litigated numerous unfair labor practices cases in front of ALJs. She has also argued for and secured injunctive relief in federal district court on several occasions.

Promoted in 2012, she is currently serving as the Acting Regional Attorney, responsible for litigation, district court actions and trial strategy for the Region. In her role as supervisory attorney, she supervises attorneys and field examiners in the processing of representation cases and the investigation and litigation of unfair labor practice cases.

In 2014, Region 18 merged with Region 30-Milwaukee. The Region’s jurisdiction now includes the States of Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota, Iowa, Wisconsin and most of the upper peninsula of Michigan.

Jennifer Hadsall | Regional Director, NLRB Region 18

Recently appointed as Regional Director of Region 18 and SubRegion 30 (Milwaukee), Jennifer has worked for the National Labor Relations Board for 14 years. She began her career in the Minneapolis office as a field examiner, handling representation matters and investigating and settling unfair labor practice cases.

In 2010, after being promoted to resident officer, she relocated to Des Moines, overseeing the operation of the Iowa Resident Office and supervising a team of attorneys and field examiners in both the Resident and Minneapolis office.

With the merger of Region 18 and SubRegion 30, she was promoted to the position of Assistant Regional Director, overseeing and deciding all representation matters, supervising a team of agents, assisting in complex cases and serving as Acting Regional Director.
