Condo owner needs assistance in fight against association

  • Location: Minneapolis
  • Organization: MMLA

This case is AVAILABLE.

Senior client owns a condo in a building. He has lived in the condo for a number of years and has had on-going issues with the Homeowner's Association. He has brought these issues to the HOA Board Meetings as well as to the attorney representing the HOA.

Issues include the use of unlicensed contractors to make -unsuccessful- repairs, discriminatory treatment against some owners, fraudulent billing practices, and potentially discriminatory clauses in the bylaws.

MMLA does not have capacity to represent this client through our programs. We are looking for a volunteer attorney to investigate the claims, advise the client and potentially represent the client in an action.
