Studies show that the legal professional faces one of the highest percentages of depression and addiction, often impacting work, family, and personal lives. We think it can never be us and it someone else's problem. But could it be you? This CLE draws upon Brian Cuban's memoir, The Addicted Lawyer: Tales of the Bar, Booze, Blow, and Redemption, to examine the traits of the addicted lawyer, how the legal professional potentially enables this behavior, and what we learn from it in terms of how to help ourselves and others.
