Common errors in document drafting and general recording tips for attorneys practicing in the areas of real estate, trusts and estates, and family law. Topics covered include fees, well certificates and eCRVs, acknowledgements and jurats, legal descriptions, delinquent taxes, calculating Mortgage Registry Tax and State Deed Tax, the advantages of electronic recording, and accessing county records for research or abstracting purposes. Questions are welcome.
