This program will share the progress of an ad hoc group of lawyers, mental health professionals, Guardians ad litem, alternative dispute resolution providers and judicial officers who have been meeting for over two years to develop strategies for professionals to more effectively handle these cases to keep children safe and the parents out of court. A similar training was recently presented to judicial officers from Minnesota and this one will focus on how attorneys can better address these cases from the perspective of judicial officers and mental health professionals.
