Agenda:
There is increasing awareness and discussion about the importance of lawyer well-being. As the ABA has adopted model objectives related to well-being, the Office of Lawyers Professional Responsibility is also examining how this fits with the mission and vision of their work. The first hour of this ethics seminar will discuss the recommendations regarding lawyer well-being, competence, recommendations for employers, and non-disciplinary approaches.
The second hour of this session will discuss ethical concerns of public interest lawyers more broadly, including addressing communication obligations and best practices.
