Tubman Pro Bono Safety Project Training

Topics:
  • Domestic Violence

One in every 4 women and one in every 7 men in the U.S. have been physically assaulted by their intimate partner.

Doctors can treat the injuries. Police can make an arrest. When the bruises are healing, and the abuser has posted bail, victims need legal protection for themselves and their children.

You can help.

The Pro Bono Safety Project provides high quality pro bono representation to low-income domestic violence victims seeking civil Orders for Protection who have a compelling need for legal assistance. Tubman staff will provide volunteer attorneys with training, case information and legal support.

We invite you to be part of this unique effort.

We ask that Safety Project Attorneys represent at least two of our clients each year. The commitment is as little as 10 hours per case.

Please join us for our next attorney training.
CLE credit applied for (3.75 standard).
CLE is free if you assist a Safety Project client within 3 months of the training. Otherwise, cost is $45.
