The Legal Aid Society of Minneapolis Volunteer Immigration Law Project is a joint project of the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota and the Minneapolis Legal Aid Society funded by the Minneapolis Foundation and the Minnesota Office of Refugee Resettlement. The HCIP serves residents of Hennepin County who qualify for its services based on their income. The HCIP assists persons with family reunification, adjustment of status, citizenship, representation in deportation proceedings, asylum, employment authorization document applications, temporary protected status and deferred enforced departure, and abused spouse and children petitions.
The Immigration Law Project (ILP) is a project of the Legal Aid Society of Minneapolis and is funded in part by grants from the Minnesota Department of Human Services Refugee Resettlement Programs Office, the Metropolitan Area Agency on Aging, The U.S. Department of Justice Violence Against Women Office and The Bremer Foundation. The ILP Serves Residents of Hennepin and Anoka Counties who qualify. The ILP assists persons with adjustment of status, citizenship, employment authorization, temporary protected status, visas for victims of abuse or crime, and family reunification.
