CSB was established by the Minnesota Supreme Court to consider and pay claims made against lawyers who, through dishonest conduct, have caused a loss to a client or to another person for whom the lawyer was acting as a fiduciary. Background information, rules and the application form used by the CSB can be found at the CSB web site, www.courts.state.mn.us/csb/csb.html. Volunteers are needed who can assist claimants in understanding the rules and in completing the application process.
