- Organization: American Bar Association’s Forum on Affordable Housing and Community Development Law
The Journal of Affordable Housing & Community Development Law, the legal publication of the American Bar Association’s Forum on Affordable Housing and Community Development Law, is currently seeking submissions from students, professors, and practitioners. The Journal publishes full-length articles, book reviews, and shorter commentaries on a wide range of affordable housing and community and economic development issues.
The Fall and Winter 2010 issues (Vols. 20:1 and 2) will be general issues with articles on any area of affordable housing or community development law. Please e-mail papers or proposals for papers to Paulette Williams at pwillia8@utk.edu as soon as possible. Final drafts for Vol. 20:1 are due no later than November 30, 2010. Final drafts for Vol. 20:2 are due no later than January 31, 2011.
For the Spring/Summer 2011 issue (Vol. 20:3) we plan to publish a special issue with articles focusing on community development projects. We are interested in discussions of projects where practitioners and/or law clinics are engaged in community lawyering efforts to revitalize low-income communities, eliminate poverty, promote economic justice, and otherwise empower disadvantaged communities. Papers or proposals for papers may be e-mailed to Paulette Williams at pwillia8@utk.edu at any time. Final drafts will be due no later than March 31, 2011.
