Minnesota Human Services Commissioner Cal Ludeman today announced plans to continue providing health care coverage through MinnesotaCare for people enrolled in the General Assistance Medical Care (GAMC) program when the program funding ends. Currently, funding is estimated to end March 1, 2010. There have been concerns about what will happen to people who receive GAMC services, and we recognize the implications for enrollees, providers and others who serve these enrollees.
