1. Ask the client whether a simple complaint letter will achieve the desired result.

- Clients can use this to file a complaint with a merchant or service provider before pursuing conciliation court remedies.
2. Advise the client to consider negotiation as an alternative to conciliation court.
3. For defendants, contemplate potential counter-claims.
