Become a pro bono attorney and help immigrant crime victims apply for the U-visa, which was designed to encourage immigrant victims of certain crimes to cooperate with law enforcement agencies.
This CLE training is for all interested attorneys! No immigration law experience is necessary. Attorneys who intend to become ILCM pro bono attorneys can attend free of charge.
We anticipate that a U-visa case will require a commitment of approximately 40 hours for an attorney new to this field. ILCM will provide training, materials, and mentorship for the duration of the cases.
- CLE Credit Comments: 5.0 CLE credits (including 1.0 Elimination of Bias) credit to be applied for.
