Mr. Hirsi, a trained neutral, will give a brief presentation on the shared concerns among local immigrant communities about how the U.S. legal system works. You will learn about the role of mediation in traditional Somali culture and the natural connections between Rule 114 style mediation and the informal problem-solving methods familiar to many immigrant cultures.
